I was in Gaylord Feb 14-16. The trails were in desperate need of new snow. It started snowing the night we arrived, and continued snowing the whole time we were there. With all the riding we did, I did not see a single groomer. On Monday, we did a loop through Vanderbilt, Elmira, Alba, Lakes of the North, Waters, then finally back to Gaylord. The trails throughout the loop, with the exception of Gaylord, were in good shape. The roughest trail was the one along 27. We even saw a groomer in Lakes of the North. Then on Tuesday we rode to Lewiston. Once again the trail along 27 was terrible. With the amount of snow falling, I would of thought that the groomer would have tried to knock down some of the bumps on the trail. This was my first visit to Gaylord to ride. I was not overly impressed.
